Evidentia was engaged by counsel for the plaintiff, a non-managing member in a business that owned and managed residential units in San Francisco. Evidentia prepared a reconstruction of the cash flows of the business for a nearly five-year period, identifying significant under-reporting of cash received from apartment rentals as well as inappropriate expense reimbursements to the managing member. After deposition testimony offering opinion that a significant amount of distributions were due to the plaintiff, a receiver was appointed.
